Our engineers have access to a range of software to ensure that the re-engineered parts meet ours and our customers high expectations.

Software includes POLYWORKS, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS, PDM, MATHCAD, MOTORCAD and proprietary in-house software for the design of Motors.

We can reverse engineer any part to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings for reproduction, saving of customers downtime and money by having the option to replace obsolete parts with like for like replacements. We can also assist clients by offering alternative materials and the latest manufacturing techniques to improve production.

This enables us to take a part which has no engineering drawings and material specifications and identify all the required information to produce 3D CAD models and 2D drawings suitable for manufacturing.

FARO 3D Technology has been a major development in reverse engineering, dimensional verification and our own quality assurance. Customers utilise API Engineering, specifically for our reverse engineering capabilities, as part of their complete project solution.

We utilise 3D metrology software to verify dimensional readings and point clouds in real-time on initial inspection, enabling a quick comparison. POLYWORKS generated inspection reports such as ISIR, FAIR or custom inspection reports can be produced certifying the part has been manufactured to required tolerances. The software enables us to import CAD models and directly lay the 3D scan over the model, making direct comparisons between the design and finished components.
